ABOUT US
Marques Inversiones was born as a family business in Buenos Aires in 1996, as a response to a profound labor crisis.
Given this situation, the architect Juan Jose Marques, brought together a group of people he trusted, with the idea of building a building, each contributing the money equivalent to the cost of construction of each apartment. In turn, the owner of the land agreed to receive the value of the land in constructed meters, and the main suppliers participated in the same way, delivering merchandise in exchange for apartments. In this way, a virtuous cycle of workers and businessmen with common interests was created, generating sources of work and investment.
As the project progressed, the architect Marques found an opportunity to replicate the business model in the town of Monte Grande, a residential area par excellence, which began to notice the demand for high-rise products, and their enabling by from public authorities was recent.
Having been able to build and deliver said project with total success, and supported by a demand that came word of mouth from the first investors, Marques Inversiones was formed.
But in the face of the various economic crises in the country and the growing consultation from investors, Damian Marques, son of the architect and administrator of all the projects, sought to expand the company to more economically stable countries. This is how he associated with the architect Cesar Gelormino, to plan the first projects outside of Argentina, more precisely in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
The good response from investors, and the growing demand for projects abroad in Argentina, made the expansion even greater, leading them to start projects in Florida in the United States.
This forced the company to modernize, adapt, and even undergo a necessary rebranding, including a name change. That is why Marques Inversiones is renamed MG Developments.
To date, and after more than 25 years of experience, the portfolio of works carried out reaches 56,820 m2 built and 620 apartments sold, with a very high degree of customer satisfaction, which accompanies project after project.
